Upon joining the team, I encountered an existing app structure, necessitating a retrospective approach to design. Absence of a coherent design system resulted in numerous inconsistencies throughout the interface. To address this challenge, I took the initiative to develop a comprehensive design system from scratch. This system served as a foundational framework to standardize design elements and ensure consistency across the app, thus enhancing its user experience and visual coherence.
